GINVE fully leverages the synergy between the robustness of the Oracle database and the scalability and reliability of the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) offering immediate access to graphical and alphanumeric data. Thanks to Oracle Spatial, spatial queries are always immediate even with large datasets.
GINVE can also use different databases such as MySQL GIS, PostGIS and Microsoft SQL Server with their spatial extensions.
Geospatial data are managed by GeoServer, a powerful open source engine designed with high interoperability standards that allows data publication from any spatial datasource that uses open or proprietary standards.
Maps visualization on the most popular web browsers (Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Firefox, Safari and Opera) is managed by OpenLayers, an open source library used worldwide and available under BSD license.
GINVE.CLOUD imports and exports natively to QGis and QField, ensuring full compatibility and possibly returning data handled through these platforms directly to GINVE.

At the end of the use, customer can continue to access data without interruptions using the on-premise GINVE.SDO platform without any additional cost.

GINVE has been studied and designed to guarantee high security standards. Requests from clients are secured with TLS and are transparently managed by a Proxy Server which has the purpose to analyze each request and routing it correctly to GeoServer avoiding various types of cyber attacks such as SQL-Injection, DDoS and Sniffing. GINVE servers are also protected by latest generation Firewalls and anti-intrusion systems and cyber attack analysis.
